Pentacles are an ancient spiritual symbol. They were used by the early Christians to denote the 5 wounds of Christ. It was used in ancient Greece by Pythagoras. Today they are used to denote our connection with the four elements, fire, water, air and earth, with the top point denoting Spirit. The Pentagram has no circle.
